The search for players and a name for a new band, finally came together in the spring of 2005.
The original line-up of Gypsy Star from 2005 - 2008, consisted of:
Billy Keen ~ Guitar, vocals, composer and founder
Belinda Brodsky ~ Lead vocals and percussion and lyricist.
Steve Brodsky ~ Drums, Cajon and percussion
Marilyn Scaccio ~ Clarinet, flute, keyboards, vocals and percussion
Steve Boisen ~ Bass, bass guitar, vocals and composer.
~ Steve has gone on to form the successful combo called "The Barnkickers" with his daughter Amanda Boisen and friends including the afore mentioned Steve Brodsky on drums. The group features Steve Boisen on bass and ukulele this time and Amanda on vocals, guitar, clarinet and ukulele as well.

After many long hours and days and line-up changes, Gypsy Star is proud to release their second CD ~ "ONCE IN A DREAM" October, 2011.
Special thanks to acclaimed singer/song writer and musician, Rebecca Zapen for adding the beautiful and enchanting gypsy violin tracks to the CD.
GYPSY STAR will be doing a concert tour in 2012 performing songs from their first two CD's as well as new songs to be recorded in the coming year.
