The Gypsy Star "Trio" returns to perform at Cafe DePaz in Dunedin, FL this Friday, January 27th, 6-10 PM.

Also, the "Trio" will perform for the first time at Mythos Greek Taverna (inside) in Clearwater, FL this Saturday, January 28th, 6-10 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!

Both of these wonderful venues have fantastic food and atmosphere and of course....  the music of Gypsy Star!!!

Gypsy Star really enjoyed performing to a large crowd at this year's Ethnic Festival on the grounds of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church In Spring Hill, Florida.

If you missed Gypsy Star's CD Release Party this past Saturday, the good news is that you can still see the band perform tonight  at 5:00 PM at the 20th Annual Ethnic Festival at St. Joan of Arc in Spring Hill, Florida. Go to our calendar page for details and map.

You can also catch band members... Billy, Belinda and Jaime playing Gypsy Star's songlist and more at the Cabana Cafe in Dunedin, Florida tomorrow (Friday) night at 7:30 PM.  ~  Great place!

Our CD's will be available for purchase at both venues.

Gypsy Star's new CD "Once In A Dream" is finally in our happy little hands and will be available for purchase at our upcoming performances.

Last night's concert at the City of Seminole's 15th Annual Music In The Park Series was a blast! We had a great time playing to a large crowd with estimates between 1,500 and 1,800 people. Very nice.

Thanks to Recreational Program Director ~ Duane Crandall and to Scott Mcgowan of Fantasia Productions and crew for making everything work.

Also, thanks to Shazadi and the Jewels of the Desert Belly Dance Troupe for once again, adding a little spice to the evening.

Gypsy Star performs this Friday evening, September 30th, at 7:00 PM at the "15th Annual Music In The Park Series" event at Seminole City Park in Seminole, Florida.  Bring your blankets and lounge chairs and enjoy the music under the stars.  Go to our Calendar page for more details.

They're on the way!!!  Our finished CD's have shipped and are enroute to us as of this posting. We're very excited!

Gypsy Star will perform at the "The 2011 Clearwater Film & Music Festival" on the deck at Best Western's "Sea Wake Resort"  on Clearwater Beach this Saturday Sept. 24th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The Wavecrest Award Party will be held at 7:00 during Gypsy Star's intermission break.

Movies, music and beach... Oh Yeah!

We had fun this past Friday playing at the cool Cabana Cafe in Dunedin, FL. Great food and friendly people.

This Friday, September 16th.... come join Billy Keen and a few of his bandmates at this cool cafe. Billy on guitar & Jaime on flute/woodwinds who have been performing as a duo at the Cabana Cafe in Dunedin, FL are joined by 2 other Gypsy Star members ~ Belinda, vocals/percussion & Steve on bass. The combo will be playing songs from Gypsy Star's repertoire and others.

Gypsy Star would like to thank Ilona and her staff at St. Petersburg Nights.  We had a great time performing there this past Sunday evening.  It's a real cool performance venue on St. Pete Beach ~ check them sometime if you're in the area!

Also... much thanks to the very talented Rebecca Zapen, who performed with the band for the first time, Sunday.

Gypsy Star’s new CD is just about finished. Final mixes are done and are being mastered. Album artwork and layout is done as well. Looks like our goal of having it ready for this fall’s concerts is on schedule.

Gypsy Star kicks off it’s live performance tour beginning with an evening show at St. Petersburg Nights at St. Pete Beach on Sunday, August 28^th. Also, Gypsy Star will be playing at The Clearwater Film & Music Festival on Clearwater Beach on Saturday, September 24^th followed by the Seminole Music In The Park Series on Friday, September 30^th.
